Website Analysis
Website Analysis Philosophy
Philo•sophy - a system of principles for guidance in practical affairs.
I believe that analysis reports of a web site's competition, search visibility, and visitor statistics make for extremely valuable references for a majority of design, redesign, development, or promotion projects.
For website promotion projects - Knowing the performance of a web site's competition and what works for them, along with the current search visibility for existing sites, helps us move forward in the most strategic and efficient manner.
For website redesigns or redeveloping a website - Visitor statistics allow us to understand which aspects of the website visitors are attracted to, which areas are uninteresting, which aspects drive traffic to the site, which pages people usually exit the site from, and so on. This information allows us to identify and preserve the site's strengths while improving weaker aspects of the website.
Finally, I believe that competitive analysis, search visibility, and visitor statistic reports allow the average business owner or marketer to easily comprehend their web site's competition, search visibility, and visitor's actions and make their own decisions about how to best move forward.

Bjorn Enki's website analysis services
Keeping in line with my philosophy, my website analysis services include a Competitive Analysis, a Search Visibility Assessment, and a Visitor Statistics Report.
Together, these three reports cover most common aspects of a web site's competitors, search visibility, and visitor usage statistics.

- Keyword Rankings, shows which keywords your competitor ranks for on search engines.
- Search Term Analysis, a list of which search terms send your competitors the most traffic, and the share of traffic each accounts for.
- PPC Analysis, showing which search terms your competitors are advertising for

Visitor Statistics Report
Bjorn Enki's Visitor Statistics Report features detailed information regarding the overall performance of your website. Covered in the report is information regarding every aspect of the web site's content, its visitors, and traffic sources, along with recommendations based upon my findings.

Search Visibility Assessment
Bjorn Enki's Search Visibility Assessment is quick and relatively simple overview of a web site's search visibility compared to its potential. It concludes with a final, overall score.
Cost: $250 per website.
Website Analysis Procedure
What happens after ordering a report or assessment
Competitive Analysis Report
Once ordered and I know the domain names that my client wants to competitively compare their website to, I immediately start gathering data. Due to the nature and complexity of Competitive Analysis Reports, this report will take 4-5 weeks to gather data for, and one additional week to create.
Once the Competitive Analysis Report is complete I will email it to my client and go over the report with them on the phone, consulting them on my findings. The structure and presentation of these reports make them quite easy for clients to understand without guidance, however I will have many valuable ideas and recommendations that may not be apparent to they average website owner, manager, or marketer.
Visitor Statistics Report
Upon ordering a Visitor Statistics Report, the first thing I will do is obtain the credentials required to implement the tracking software that will be gathering data about your web site's visitors, traffics sources, and content performance.
Over the next 2-3 weeks the tracking software will be reporting and recording data about your website. Over that time period, the reported values start evening out and the overall performance of visitors, traffic sources and content becomes apparent. Then, I analyze the data and put together a report on my findings which easily illustrates which content is performing well and which isn't, where visitors are coming from, going, and why, and much more. Finally I will email the report to my client and consult with them on it over the phone, pointing out the most important findings and making suggestions based upon my research.
Search Visibility Assessment
For clients that request Search Visibility Assessments - over the next 1-2 days I will gather information about the web site's current search visibility and compare it to its apparent potential. I will then split my findings into five categories; Search/Traffic, Internal and External Links, Domain, Code/Script Makeup, and Keywords/Content, and manually grade each on a scale of one to ten. The report concludes with an overall score and is finally emailed to my client. I will gladly consult with my client over the phone regarding any questions or concerns they may have.
