Bjørn Enki business card design

A new business card design based upon my new website. I wanted a card that resembled my website and portrayed a bit of my style. I also think that having design as a major part of creating websites allows a professional web designer to be a little more extravagant with their business card designs.

As I finished launching the second redesign of my website in early 2009, new business cards to reflect the new brand were of course in order.  I wanted a card that resembled my website and portrayed a little of my style. I also think that having design as a major part of creating websites allows professional web designer to be a little more  extravagant with their business card designs.

After spending hours trying to get the green in the CMYK version of my logo to look as close as possible to what it's supposed to be within the limitations of CMYK, i came up with the following design:

I decided on rounded corners to help preserve the card and complement the "O" theme of my logo.

The actual printed card will have a matte finish, but the logo will be spot UV coated - making it shiny and  thus stick out from the rest of the card a bit. I considered also UV coating the reflection of the logo on the front, but decided not to.

Update: I've posted pictures of the actual printed business card
