Every website needs a host. As I haven’t been able to find a solution that I felt good recommending to clients or using myself, I am pleased to have finished creating my own and making it available for client use.
A fresh approach to website hosting
Among the many problems common to hosting solutions, the main concerns I wanted to tackle were:
- Needing to share a server with an unknown number of individuals with varying qualifications in order to get a decent deal.
- Not having the ability to install any software that’s needed.
- Not being able to tweak configurations and software to perform optimally.
- Being without a notification-system that lets those who need to know the instant a potential error occurs.
- A lack of automated backup solutions—just in case things go wrong.
Since the main reason I’ve started offering hosting is to provide the best possible hosting environment for my clients and myself alike, I put a lot of work into ironing out the details.
